Software Engineer in Test

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium to validate web applications across multiple browsers. Create and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites to ensure high-quality software releases. Develop and maintain API automation scripts using REST-based testing tools and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies, improve test coverage, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC. Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and perform root cause analysis to support rapid defect resolution. Build reusable automation components, optimize existing test frameworks, and continuously improve test execution efficiency and reliability. Participate in Agile ceremonies, review user stories and acceptance criteria, and provide quality recommendations throughout sprint execution. Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices, coding standards, and quality engineering methodologies while driving continuous process improvements. SDETs with Playwright as automation and they should have worked in projects that involve testing salesforce modules (any salesforce module)
