Software Engineer (Web) Remote Position Summary Client is a leading solutions and analytics company that leverages unparalleled clinical and financial datasets to deliver deep insight into the performance of the healthcare system. These insights uncover new opportunities for healthcare organizations to collaborate to improve their financial performance, reduce inefficiency, and improve healthcare quality. The Software Engineer is responsible for the design and development of software applications and reusable software components for the Client's product suite, in compliance with predefined coding standards and technical design. This person will collaborate effectively and work with senior developers, QA, product owners, project management, and other stakeholders. Client develops highly innovative applications in healthcare analytics to generate performance, improvement opportunities and value for their clients. Responsibilities • Support and enhance high quality software modules for the Client's product suite • Analyze and resolve software related issues originated from internal or external customers • Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production roll out • Demonstrate proficient working knowledge of the primary discipline and a developing knowledge of related disciplines • Execute solutions enhancements to improve performance / availability • Communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership in a timely manner • Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems • Explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing processes or systems which improve efficiency and results • Continuously improve and enhance knowledge of new technologies as selected and integrated into the Client's product suite • Execute all appropriate facets of the Client's Software Development Lifecycle with a desire for continuous improvement • Mentor other developers • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or related field • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency working with large data sets • 2-3 years of healthcare industry experience a plus • 2-3 years' experience with software engineering best practices such as continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, and code reviews • Working knowledge of RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, or SQL programming skills • Understanding of prevalent Software Development Lifecycle methodologies • Ability to execute on project deliverables in a dynamic, fast paced environment within estimated timelines • Working experience with Claude Code preferred • 2-3 years' experience with: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, source control (BitBucket preferred), use of 3rd party libraries (Telerik), JSON, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, WCF, .NET 3.5-4.8, Entity Framework, SQL/T-SQL (queries/tables/views/SPROC) Experience with .NET 10 preferred
