Position Overview Are you a seasoned software engineer looking for an opportunity work with a variety of technology and make a meaningful contribution to the team? We have an opportunity to join in New Technology Adoption team within Single family Division where you will work in a fast-paced environment to research, implement strategic technical capabilities, champion architectural excellence, research prototype and enable adoption in a large scale on the best practices. Our Impact: Single Family’s NTA line of business enables Best Practices of Modern Applications to the BTO teams by building strategic technology capabilities, research and prototype reference implementation patterns and supports adoption by training, coaching and other meaningful ways. Your Impact: • Lead technical and architectural decisions that shape system design, infrastructure strategy, and configuration optimization • Analyze business requirements, propose design alternatives aligned with the technical roadmap, and architect microservices-based solutions leveraging Java/JEE frameworks, modern UI technologies, Docker, AWS etc • Provide guidance to the project team on high level design, ensuring that the design/solution is consistent with the approved architecture • Developing software solutions by studying organizational needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the spec driven development principles. • Research, implement, promote “Best Practices” within and outside team for wider adoption and value addition • Demonstrating ownership of problems, issues, or requests from start to finish and facilitating appropriate handoffs • Collaboratively work with all other IT Teams to identify “Win/Win” opportunities and improve efficiency • Championing and influencing technology decisions with business partners, IT management and Team members that requires negotiating while maintaining effective relationships Qualifications: • At minimum 5 - 7 years of hands on professional software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions • Highly proficient on hands-on development with modern Java and/or Python tech stack in agile, distributed teams. that way we remove years requirement but still can assess the efficiency level per interview • 5+ years of demonstrated expertise developing front-end and orchestration layer technologies: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Python frameworks such as Flask, Fast API or Django, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS • 3+ years designing and implementing large-scale microservices architectures with container orchestration frameworks • 3+ Years of specialized experience with Relational(PostgreSQl), NoSQL(MongoDB), Caching Technologies like Redis, EhCache • Experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations. • Experience with CICD tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git • Experience in performance tuning and enterprise grade production applications design/development and support • Familiarity with AWS Document Processing capabilities (Textract, Comprehend, Bedrock Data Automation) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience; advanced studies and degree preferred • Good communication skills. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $129,000 - $193,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
